Export your data from DripJobs

Where to find every DripJobs export (contacts, jobs, proposals, invoices, products) so you can bring your history into Homeforce.

Moving from DripJobs? DripJobs lets you download most of your lists as CSV files and your proposals one at a time. This guide shows where each export lives, then you upload the files to Homeforce.

Your export checklist

DripJobs' help center doesn't say which user roles can export. If you don't see an export button, ask the account owner.

Contacts

  1. Click Contacts.
  2. Check the contacts you want. Select them all.
  3. Click Export. DripJobs downloads a CSV or XLSX file.

DripJobs doesn't publish a separate export for service addresses. Open your contacts file and check that addresses are there. If they aren't, the Sales List and Jobs List exports are the next place to look.

Sales List and Jobs List

These two lists export the same way.

  1. Click Sales List (or Jobs List).
  2. Clear any filters so every record shows. On the Jobs List you can also filter by status or deal stage, such as Project Complete.
  3. Set the number of entries shown to All.
  4. Check the first box to select every record that matches.
  5. Click Export CSV.

Export the Jobs List with no stage filter so you get scheduled, completed and cancelled jobs together.

Lead sources

  1. Click Metrics, then Reports.
  2. Click Select a Report and choose Leads.
  3. Set the Date Range as wide as it goes, then click Apply.
  4. Check all the leads.
  5. Click Export to CSV.

Invoices and payments

  1. Click Invoices.
  2. Choose All so every status is included, then click Search.
  3. Set entries per page to All. DripJobs only exports the page you're looking at.
  4. Click Export. Some DripJobs screens show this under Actions instead.

DripJobs has no separate payments export. The invoices file has Paid and Balance columns, which is how DripJobs itself suggests tracking payments.

Products and services

  1. Click Settings, then Products / Services.
  2. Remove any filters and check every item.
  3. Click Export CSV.

Financing

  1. Click Proposals - Financing.
  2. Set Statuses to All and click Search.
  3. Show all entries, then click Export.

Proposals and work orders

DripJobs only downloads these one at a time.

  • Proposals: open the proposal with View Proposal, click the download icon, then Download Proposal PDF.
  • Work orders: go to Work Orders, click View, click Work Order, then Download 'Work Order'.

If you have a lot of proposals, start with open ones and recent wins. The Sales List export already carries each deal's status.

What won't come across

DripJobs says these can't be downloaded or exported: chats, tasks, the activity list, proposal templates, job costing data, production rates, blast emails, drips and templates. That means notes kept in chats or the activity feed stay behind unless you copy them out. DripJobs suggests contacting its support for anything not on its export list.

If you take payments through Stripe in DripJobs, the full transaction details, saved cards and payment methods live in your Stripe account, not in DripJobs, and saved cards can't be moved. Customers will need to enter a card again.
