Export your data from Jobber

Where to find every Jobber export (clients, jobs, visits, quotes, invoices, payments and your products list) before you move to Homeforce.

Before you switch, pull a copy of everything out of Jobber. Most of it comes from Clients and from the reports under Insights → Reports. Jobber emails most files to the address you log in with.

Your export checklist

Clients, contacts and properties

Only admin users can export clients, and client export is only on some Jobber plans.

  1. Click Clients in the side menu.
  2. Click More Actions in the top right.
  3. Select Export Clients.
  4. Under Choose export format, pick CSV.
  5. Don't pick any tags, so every client is included.
  6. Click Export and wait for the email.

The file includes contact details, property addresses, tags and custom fields. Each CSV holds up to 1,500 rows, so a bigger list arrives as several files. Send us all of them.

Jobs, visits, quotes and invoices

These are all reports and work the same way. You need to be an admin, or have the report permissions Jobber lists in each help article.

  1. Click Insights in the side menu, then Reports.
  2. Open the report:
    • Under Work reports: One-off jobs, Recurring jobs, Visits and Quotes.
    • Under Financial reports: Invoices.
  3. Set the date range to All time.
  4. Click Export to CSV.
  5. Choose to export all columns, not just the ones on screen.
  6. Check your email for the file.

The Visits report is your job history. It includes who was assigned, whether each visit was completed, line items and job type. The Invoices report includes line items, tax, tips, deposits and balance.

Payments

  1. Go to Insights → Reports, then Transaction list under Financial reports.
  2. Set the date range to cover all your history.
  3. Click Receive Excel Copy. Jobber emails it to you.

This report only shows successful payments.

Products and services

  1. Click the Gear icon, then Settings.
  2. Select Products & Services.
  3. Scroll to the export box near the bottom and click Export to CSV.

Fewer than 50 items download right away. Bigger lists are emailed, 1,500 items per file.

Notes and attachments

Jobber has no bulk export for notes. On a note with five or more attachments, open its three-dot menu, choose Export files, then Send email to get a zip. For anything smaller, save each file or copy the note by hand. You can also download single quotes, jobs and invoices as PDFs from More Actions → Download PDF.

Then upload the files to Homeforce. See How migration works.

What won't come across

  • Card and bank details held by Jobber Payments
  • Saved payment methods and automatic payment setups
  • Client hub logins and online booking settings
  • Notes and attachments you don't save by hand

We didn't find a memberships or equipment export in Jobber's help center. Recurring jobs are the closest thing, and they come across in the Recurring jobs report.
