Use the app as an owner or office user
What owners, dispatchers, sales reps, project managers and accounting see in the app, from the Business view to the team schedule.
The app isn't just for techs. Owners and office staff get a business snapshot on the Home tab, the whole team's week on Schedule, and their office pages under More. What you see depends on your role, and it's the same set of permissions you have on the web.
The Business view
Roles that can view reports (owners, admins, dispatchers, sales, project managers and accounting) see Business on the Home tab:
- Collected today and This month, with the change versus last month
- Visits today, done out of booked, and how many are in progress
- Unpaid, with the overdue amount in red
- Close rate (month) and Avg ticket
- Needs the office: visits today with no one assigned, and jobs waiting to be scheduled
- Crew today: each tech's status (On site, On the way, Between jobs, Done for today or No visits today), what they're on now or where they're headed next, and how many stops they've finished
If you're also on visits yourself, Your stops follows below. Pull down to refresh. Offline, you'll see the last numbers with a note saying so.
Full reports, costs and payroll are on the web. See Reports overview.
The team schedule
Roles that can see all jobs get the whole team on the Schedule tab, not just their own visits. Pick a day from the strip, then filter with Everyone, a tech's name, or Unassigned.
Tap a teammate's visit to open it. If you can manage dispatch (owners, admins, dispatchers and project managers), you can:
- Tap Reschedule or reassign (or Schedule for an unscheduled visit).
- Pick the day, start time, length and tech, then save.
You can also tap Unschedule to take a scheduled visit off the board, or Update status. For dragging visits between techs, use the dispatch board on the web.
Office records under More
Under More you can work leads, customers, estimates, jobs, invoices and payments from your phone. For example, a dispatcher can add a lead, create the customer and book the job. Accounting can check overdue invoices under Collections and issue refunds. See The More menu, Inbox and your account.
What each role can do on their own visits
When you're assigned to a visit, it opens in the full visit screen (see Work a visit from start to finish). What you can do there depends on your role:
| Role | On a visit |
|---|---|
| Owner, admin | Everything |
| Dispatcher | Status, checklists, photos and estimates. Can collect payment but can't create invoices. |
| Sales, project manager, technician | Status, checklists, photos, notes, estimates, invoices and payment |
| Accounting | View and collect payment. Can't change visit status. |
| Subcontractor | View their assigned visits and track their own time |
